Ranking Highly On Google

Writing quality original content is only part of getting the articles you write to rank high in Google search results. As an article marketer there are a few other things you can do beyond original content that will help your article rank higher.
Good use of keywords. The thing to remember here is more is not always better. You must write to your audience not to search engines. This means to use keywords and keyword phrases as part of your article but be careful not to overuse them. Keywords should always make sense to the reader.
Publish your article to a highly respected article submission site. There are two main article submission sites that draw a lot of traffic and are widely accepted in the article marketing arena. The two sites are EzineArticles and GoArticles.
Submit your article to a series of social bookmarking sites. A social bookmarking site is a way for internet users to organize websites or bookmarks they like. This is the new way to bookmark a website. Here are a few social bookmarking sites I like; delicious, digg and socialmarker.
Link to your article from several blogs.
Most of this work will have to be done manually. Search engines detest automated software and if you become too automated with your article writing i.e. using article spinning software or if you heavily use software to submit to your bookmarking sites Google will know. The best advice is to research your article topic so you have good quality content to write. This means no spinning, no PLR articles (PLR, Private Label Rights), and no copying anyone else's work. Publish your article to an article submission site. Be sure its original content. Next manually submit to your social bookmarking sites. This takes time but you are trying to rank on the first page of Google. Finally, link from your blogs. Remember, always original and manual is better than automatic
